50 Kwanzas with date 8 Jan . 92

One of my best finds, from cheap loose coins, during 2003, must have been the Angola 50 Kwanzas as per KM-91 (the type from around 1991) BUT additionally with small "8 Jan . 92" below the word "KWANZAS" on the reverse and in Copper-plated-Steel (attracted to a magnet) as opposed to the Bronze (not attracted to a magnet) of the undated pieces.

I had not heard of such dated pieces before and three months later I have still not found anyone who already knew about such pieces - but I have asked lots of people. One clue about the piece was in what the dealer told me about how he came by it. He told me - something along the lines of - he had bought the piece over the counter (of his shop), in a lot that included other coins/tokens from southern Africa, from the wife of a coin collector who had for some time lived in South Africa.

The only other real clue that all of my asking gained me, was about the date on the reverse of this piece. According to Gerhard Schön, the date, 8th of January 1992, is 15 years to the day from when Angola introduced the Lwei/Kwanza monetary system. This is contrary to the slightly different date given for that occasion in the German published world coin catalogue "Weltmünzkatalog" (by Günter Schön, 20th Century issues edition of 1996/97 (and later), published by Battenberg) - Gerhard Schön told me that the date given in "Weltmünzkatalog" requires to be corrected.

The 50 Kwanzas obverse, as common to both varieties.  The 50 Kwanzas reverse - normal type - i.e. without date.

(Both varieties have exactly the same obverse.)

I did lots of searching on the internet for images of 50 Kwanzas coins and the similar but larger 100 Kwanzas from the same time. I found several images of each of these types (KM-91 and KM-92) but none at all with a date below "KWANZAS" on the reverse. For now I would only be guessing if I suggested that 100 Kwanzas pieces exist with the additional date. I hope to find some more information on all of this. Can anyone help ?
